At last week’s meeting of Ballynahinch Camera Club the images which had been submitted for Round 1 of the Northern Ireland Photographic Association inter-club competition were judged by a panel of club members. Club Chairman, Keith Wilson, said that he was very encouraged by both the quantity and quality of the entries.
The judges were Terry, Alan and Brian Shields. Ciara made her judging debut and delivered her critiques with great confidence and assurance.
Terry Hanna had a particularly successful evening, coming first in all three categories with his stunning wildlife and motocross photographs. The top four images in each category will go forward to represent the club at Northern Ireland level and the marks awarded for each image will be used in the club’s own Internal League.

Mono prints: First – Terry Hanna. Second – Brian Shields. Equal third – John Gallagher and Ciara

Colour Prints: First – Terry Hanna. Equal second – Alan Chowney and Terry Hanna. Fourth – John
Knipe.
Projected Digital Images: First, second and third – Terry Hanna. Fourth – Ciara Fullam.
The speakers at this week’s meeting will be club members Terry Hanna and John McCullough who will speak about their experiences of the technique of photo stacking.
