At last week’s meeting of Ballynahinch Camera Club Daria Casement had the unenviable task of judging the large entry of images which had been submitted for Round 2 of the NIPA competition.
This was a themed round on the genre of Macro Photography. Daria, or Dee as she is better known, is a photographer and photography educator known for running courses and workshops for photography clubs and community groups. She delivered a very concise and constructive critique on each and every photograph which had been submitted, before delivering her decisions.
The results are as follows:-
Mono prints: First – John Gallagher. Second – Terry Hanna. Third – John Knipe, Fourth – Isaac Busby.
Colour Prints: First – Ciara Fullam. Second – Terry Hanna, Third – Ciara Fullam. Fourth – Jim McClean.
Projected Digital Images: Joint First, John Gallagher, John McCullough (x2) Jim Hunter.
