Terry Hanna and Ciara Fulham were the stars of the show at last week’s Ballynahinch Camera Club meeting on 26th February, as entries were scored to determine the club’s selection for the 5th and final round of the season in the NIPA interclub photographic competition. Terry had eight images selected across Mono, Colour and PDI categories.
Judging for the first time, Ciara impressed with detailed comments and thoughtful scoring, having recently completed the club-level NIPA judging course. She joined experienced members Alan Chowney and Doug McCart on the panel and also had one of her own images selected — marking her final entry as a novice member before moving up to the Advanced section next season following her continued success.
The open theme produced a super variety of images. Other members with successful submissions included Doug McCart, Jim Hunter and Isaac Busby.
With such strong entries, the club is hoping to match — or even surpass — last year’s impressive second-place finish on the league table.
Next week, the club will host a practical night — a relaxed, hands-on session that offers a great chance to get creative and learn from fellow members.
