As the end of another photographic year fast approaches, Ballynahinch Camera Club held its annual charity quiz in the Lakeside Inn at Ballydugan last Thursday evening. The quiz was well attended and proved to be a very enjoyable evening with team ‘Wits’ End’ emerging the winners by the narrowest of margins over team ‘CABBLE’.
The proceeds were shared between club funds and local charity ALPS (All Lives are Precious), an organisation that responds to well-being, awareness raising, training and development and the therapeutic service provision needs of individuals, families, schools and communities.
The club’s Annual General Meeting will be held this Thursday evening at 7.45 and this will be the last official meeting until the new season begins at the end of August.
