Ballynahinch Camera Club members travelled to Shorts Camera Club in Belfast last Thursday night to attend the judging of Round One of the Northern Ireland Photographic Association’s competition.
Twenty three camera clubs are affiliated with NIPA which runs five rounds of competition throughout the year. During the evening, the results of the competition were announced and by the end of the evening Ballynahinch CC found itself in third place.
Terry Hanna and Leah Gaines each achieved two starred images and John McCullough had one starred image. Leah now moves from the Novice Section to the Advanced Section.
At this week’s meeting of the club, visiting judge Brian Maguire will use his expertise to assess the images which have been submitted for Round 2 of the NIPA competition.
